My process always starts with an image from an encounter in nature. Something I see, feel or imagine. From there it develops into a drawing that is the starting point for a story.

My starting point: I received a degree in Secondary Art Education so I could teach art at the high school level in Sun Valley, Idaho. I received another degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and here I am.
